‘Tie Me Up’ at CalArts commissioned by the Ahmanson Grant 2005

An exploration of collective restriction as a compositional tool for string trio. In collaboration with Leah Piehl and Shaun Decou these three interconnected straightjackets allowed us to explore the physical act of playing a violin through its restriction.
