Works with Anthony Braxton

In our first work together in 2011, Anri asked me to perform 3, 2, 1 as part of the timecode of his exhibition at the Serpentine Gallery. The exhibition lasted for about three months and every 25 minutes I invented spontaneously in response to sound and film works followed by a solo followed by a 25 minute break to regroup. This occurred 7 times a day during the week and 10 times on Thursdays. By the end of the show, I had performed about 450 times. This is an excerpt from a document of those performances by filmmaker Rebecca Salvadori.

2015 - 2018

To Each His Own (in Bridges), developed in collaboration with Anri Sala. Collaborative composition and performance project for clarinet, saxophone, trombone, percussion, and bass amplifier. Performances and installations presented at Frieze Sculpture Park, London, Havana Biennial and as Bridges in the Doldrums for Instituto Moreira Salles, São Paulo

In 2022 I was commissioned by the Pinault Collection, to make a live performance for Anri's installation of Time No Longer, at the Bourse de Commerce, Paris. The original score for Time No Longer, was recorded and composed by myself, Olivier Goinard, and Sala in 2019.
